DAVID BUTLER Réalisateur américain né le 17 Decembre 1894 à San Francisco, Californie et décédé le 14 June 1979.
Fils d' Adele Belgrade and Fred J. Butler.Il a été un survivant du tremblement de terre de San Francisco en 1906.
Il a été acteur puis scénariste et enfin réalisateur.

A réalisé de nombreux films au cinéma avant de terminer sa carrière à la télévision dans des feuilletons.
Il a été un réalisateur de films d'aventures.A tourné souvent avec Bob Hope ou Doris Day.
